If you think you recognise comedian Eddie Ifft, it’s because you probably do. Eddie is an international TV veteran. In Australia alone he has performed on Rove Live, The Glass House, Thank God You're Here, The Footy Show and Good News Week.  Eddie had a sell-out run at this year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival, wowed at the Sydney Comedy Festival with time for only 2 shows and headlined the Best of Edinburgh in Adelaide.

The Comedy Store welcomes him back after a brief visit during Sydney Comedy Festival for a 2 week show run in Sydney from 1st – 12th September 2009. Eddie will preview his 2010 Melbourne Comedy Festival Show “I shouldn’t have said that”, which deals with tales of Eddie putting his foot in his mouth.

Despite Eddie’s global success, it is his ability to fly under the radar that makes his material so hilarious. Eddie’s slightly shocking but always spot on sense of humour keeps the audience on side and roaring with laughter in agreement where a more arrogant comedian would simply offend.

Eddie has recently hosted his own comedy special on Comedy Central which aired earlier this year in America to excellent ratings. He has also chronicled his travels – this year alone he has headlined in 17 countries – for a feature length, documentary film, entitled "America the Punchline." In which he brings a camera crew on his travels and attempts to uncover honest opinions about America throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia  Along the way, he asks the world’s citizens whove or hate about America - what they could do without, what they wish they could emulate, how their opinions came to be, and most importantly... What’s so funny?

In the US Eddie has appeared on NBC’s hit show Last Comic Standing II, Thank God You’re Here, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, BET’s Comic View and NBC’s Late Friday Night, VH1’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Comic’s Unleashed, Chelsea Lately and performed with Dave Chapelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Robin Williams. Eddie has also hosted Shark Week, spent a season as the ABC College Football Guy, earned a job as "man-on-the-street" on the Queen Latifah show, and was co-host of a sports radio show on New York’s legendary WNEW. He hosted a pilot for Comedy Central entitled "Strap-On" and also had a role in a Steven King film.
